Subject:Family tree

My mother Mary Rands was born in Chelmondiston in 1928 in what is now the butchers. Her father Charles Rands was a bargeman as was his father Herbert who lived at Myrtile cottage at the back of the church. I am tracing the family tree, has anyone any information on the Rands family or the Wright family who had the Boot Inn?. Are there any Rands in the village? I'm also interested in any obtaining any old photos of Chelmondiston and finding out about its history. If anyone has any information that may help me I would very much appreciate it.Regards Sharon.

Subject:Woolverstone FC History

Quite a few years ago (approx 10-15) there was a soft back book brought out of the history of Woolverstone FC. I did get a copy for my dad who played for the club in the early 60's but now has sadly passed on %26 his copy mislaid. If there are any left or someone has a spare I would like to purchase one for myself. Many thanks Steve. smcullum@btinternet.com
